This is my absolute favorite favorite FAVORITE sushi restaurant! Everything is always fresh and delicious, food comes out fast, and the servers are always friendly. I can come back a hundred times and enjoy it every time.
I typically like to try new restaurants, but when I'm in the mood for sushi- I don't want to be disappointed and Sushi Kinoya is always consistently amazing. -

Good quality, fair pricing, friendly and timely service. Everyone was costumer oriented. Clean prep-table and kitchen. Trained and professional chefs.
My first time and not last. I recommend. -

A good sushi spot is hard to find
A great sushi restaurant is even harder
So I am extremely thankful to have found this gem.
Service was amazing. No empty plate was on my table for longer than a minute. Friendly, kind, patient and attentive
The food was how do you say... Mind shattering. It wasnt overly complex just to be IG worthy. It was delicious, it was mouth watering, it was... everything I want in Sushi and some.
I love this place -

This place from the outside automatically looks like a "hole in the wall," so I kinda had high hopes. Don't get me wrong, the atmosphere and decorations were very unique and creative. For the food, it was just alright. I ordered a miso soup for myself as an app, and shared the calamari shrimp roll as well as the edamame for the table. The calamari shrimp roll was so small, about only 6 pieces it looked like. Nothing special about the taste. for my baked lobster roll with white fish, same thing. Nothing really special. I feel like if the white fish wasn't in the roll, it probably would've tasted better. Or if they added more into the roll, it would taste a little better. The size of the sushi is too small for my liking. It's like the size of putting my two thumbs together... and I have small thumbs! Also does not match the price of the whole roll. Overall it was "okay."

Finally got a chance to visit Sushi Kinoya again! When I first moved to Long Beach I remember going to a sushi restaurant where the staff was so kind and helpful and the food was amazing! After aimlessly looking through yelp's picture of different sushi restaurants I finally found the one I went to four years ago! I recognized the lay out of the restaurant and got to come back and they did not disappoint at all! We both got the sushi and roll special on their lunch menu ! Their lunch menu is super cheap and they have lots of options! Worth it for the price ! Until next time Sushi Kinoya !
